Home From NY/MA

Yep! I'm back. Had a great time with my Honey and my girls, and their boys and dogs. I really enjoyed staying at the Hilton Suites, had my breakfast cooked every day and dinner cooked M-Th. I could get used to that. Also, having someone clean and make the bed whenever I wanted was cool too. Mostly, I didn't though. The bed was 100 times better than the one we slept in at the lake house. I didn't roll to the center once!

Having some rain and cool weather was ok with me and it warmed up the second half of my stay. I saw lots of deer again, also ground hogs, a fox and wild turkeys. All in NY. I guess those MA folk eat up all their wildlife. The timeshare was barely in MA. Our Vacation Villas was on the mountain across the valley from Jimminy Peak. So it was a nice vista. When Christina was there it was nice and we swam, but it had cooled off for Kelly's visit so we did the hot tub instead. Kelly led us off to a craft store that was full of the usual along with some neat things, like knitted kitchen towels, quilts and folk art. Then we went to a farm store to look for soft cheese, but they only had hard. She bought her Dad some cookies and I bought a loaf of fresh baked bread. We toured the farm and it was fun. I love me some farm animals.

Enjoy the photos of the cocky chicken on the saw horse. The bale of hay that became a laying spot for some custom builder chicken.

Kelly is offering the calf some of its own food from the bucket. I think he was hoping for something better. Of course, just before I took the shot he was close and letting her pet him.

So this is the city girl photo, the gal working at the farm had on rubber boots. I was wearing trainers and I'm afraid some of the farm came back inside the villa with me. Oops!
