Freezing in New York

OK so maybe it isn't freezing outside, it is in the 50's, but it's freezing here in the hotel lobby. Brrrrr.
My fingers got numb playing solitaire so I thought I better go ahead and write a blog.

Just had another healthy oj. Not so great for diabetics, but undeniably healthy. And so much easier than chewing on an orange which was also on offer.

Did I mention that I didn't even bring a long sleeve shirt? I thought it was summer. You know June. It is 95 degrees at home. After all. My toes are also freeZing in my flip flops. The water in the pool is warm enought to swim but the chlorine fumes in the enclosure are overwhelming.

I have big plans today, a call to the Walmart pharmacy to try to correct the prescription that the Dr. wrote incorrectly and the store/insurance scam want to charge me an additional full price for the other 30 tabs of a twice a day med. that I was shorted. Drat their scurvy bones.

Oh, my other big plans are to read Odd Thomas, do 4 Sudoku squares, and work on my Corvette jigsaw puzzle. Then have the yummy hotel dinner and watch Hell's Kitchen and Glee. Then maybe The Little Couple.

No dear this morning, but I enjoyed the doe outside the window yesterday.
